We will regularly organise fundraising events to help raise money for the poor and needy.

We will detail some of the great events on this page.

Dining Events

Each year JUST HELP Foundation hopes to get involved at the social events.

DE1 - CHARITY DINNER NIGHT

Every now and again, we organise charity dinner night event through restaurants and other eating facilities. This dinner night runs for a night or a few nights. The restaurants agree to pay certain percentage of the takings to JUST HELP Foundation.

Find your local restaurant taking part in this event from the list below and go and enjoy the food and donate to the poor.

CDN1 - Grand opening ceremony

This three night event is taking place at the Cinnamon Indian Cuisine, 18A Market St, Hyde, Cheshire SK14 1AY. The event is from Thursday 17th May 2007 to Saturday 19th May 2007. Special guest performing the opening ceremony is the Mayor of Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council. Come and take part as 30% of the total over the three nights will be given to JUST HELP Foundation.

Outcome: Cinnamon Indian Cuisine has donated £250. Thanks to everyone involved.

CDN2 - Cyclone Sidr Appeal

UJALA Tandoori Restaurant, 23 Nunnery Lane, York, YO23 1AB, has kindly organised a charity night and has raised about £475. In addition to the money raised, the owner, Alhaj Bodruzzaman Bodr and his family have also contribituted £525. They are donating a grand total of £1000. 

Just Help Foundation would like to thank everyone involved. We hope they will join us for future appeals.

DE2 - CHARITY DINNER WEEK

This event is same as the charity dinner night but the difference is that the event will be running for a whole week. We aim to get as  many restaurants involved as possible.

If you are a restaurant owner and wish to put your name up for the charity dinner week then please email us with details and we will be more than happy to design the leaflets for your use.

CDW1 - Cyclone Sidr Appeal.

Many restaurants and take-aways have got together to raise money for the Cyclone victims by organising a charity dinner week. The event is to take place during the first week of December 2007 up until 8th December 2007. The following restaurants and takeaways are involved:

Tikka Mossala Takeaway (Ashton), Saffron Takeaway (Hyde), Viceroy Takeaway (Droylsden), Ready 2 Foods (Newton), Rajni Takeaway (Hadfield), Cinnamon Indian Takeaway (Hyde), Chutney Massala (Dukinfield), Tandoori King Takeaway (Glossop)

LalQuilla Restaurant (Mossley), Aasiana Restaurant (Denton), Nawaab Restaurant (Hyde), Faizah Indian Cuisine (Hyde), Bengal Restaurant (Ashton-under-lyne).

DE3 - ANNUAL "EAT and SAVE" Month **

Every year we aim to get as many restaurant owners signed up for the special "Eat and Save" event. This is a annual event to be held in a specific month and will run every year.

This event is unique to other dinner nights. During this month the designated restaurants will be supplied with a big banner to advertise the special event and a locked box for donation from the customers. The donation boxes will be collected at the end of the month and the money will go to helping fight poverty.

This is special event as you are donating directly to JUST HELP FOUNDATION and not relying on any businesses to make sure that your money gets to us.

During this special month you will be dining out knowing that you are eating to save lives.

School Events

Each year JUST HELP Foundation hopes to get involved with the local schools. 

SE1 - CRAZY HAT Day

This event allows the children to take part in a charitable event. The aim is to get the school kids to design a crazy hat made out of paper and other bits and bobs. Each hat can be entered into the competition with a small fee. The winner will win a prize.

During this event some raffle tickets will be sold for as little as £1 and the winning ticket at the end of the day will be given a prize of some sort.

During this event refreshments such as drinks and snacks will be sold. This will be an additional source of money for the  charity.

SE2 - MONEY TREE For the poor

This is a great way of getting the local schools involved. We will help make a giant life-size tree made out of card box and place it in the local schools. The tree will have a lockable box inside and children, teachers and other adults can donate their change to the poor.

SE3 - Sports Marathon Event

This fundraising event is based around sports as the title would suggest. We will discuss the proposed schools and identify sports that can be taken part in. There will be many sports being played, from 5-a-side football to rounders, sprinting etc. Once the this event has been discussed with the local schools, more details will be displayed here.

SE4 - Sponsored Read-a-thon week

This fundraising event is based around reading. The aim is to get the children involved in reading as much as they can in a limited time period. Each child will get sponsors from family and friends for each book he or she reads.

Running Events

Each year JUST HELP Foundation hopes to make an impact at most of the UK's major running events.

Here are some of the running events we are looking forward to.

RE1- LONDON MARATHON

Thousands and thousands of people take part in this great event each year. This is one of the most exciting road race event.

Please run for JUST HELP Foundation and remember that every step you take will help towards a world without poverty.

RE2 - BRITISH 10K

This is a fun run starting from Hyde Park Corner and takes runner past some of the famous sites in London including Big Ben, Downing Street, Trafalgar Square and finally finishing at Whitehall.

Another great run based up north where they run approx. 13 miles from Newcastle to South Shields.
